  1. I don’t profess to be a Sports Scientist or Nutritionist but what I do know is that Brook cannot go back to the welterweight class after this fight. It seems to me, and I had a feeling about this from my previous post, that Brook is planning to meet Golovkin on the inside and force him on his back foot and he is concentrating on upper body strength as well as speed to contain and neutralise Golovkin’s mid-range offensive skills. I heard his trainer, Dominic Ingle, alluding to this in a recent interview. It’s a bold strategy but I feel the correct one if you want to beat Golovkin. But yes I agree, there is an issue with losing the 16 pounds in what I consider to be a well-defined body. There appears to be no water there and to lose all weight in a short space of time in conjunction with sharpening your skills and fight strategy is very risky. So Dwyer my brother, I will have to concede that Brook may have given himself a lot to do to win this fight.
